This was the first vintage, now seven years old. Some say that Primitivo suffers from its longevity, due to the scarce quantity of tannins. I do not agree, on the contrary. In fact, its ability to age so long is one of the greatest wine-making achievements of these young lions from Puglia. The wine remains totally intact, nothing is missing, not even a slight dimming of the color or any intensity. The aroma is very balsamic and the flavor luscious.
