The Board of Directors of Angelini Holding Spa will appoint Nicoletto in the coming weeks. "I am enthusiastic about this appointment," comments the manager, "which comes with a new challenge. Bertani Domains is a wine group of excellence with great potential on which I will focus by enhancing the existing and exploring new avenues of development. I am happy to become part of the Angelini Group, a great reality at the centre of an important growth path".
Ettore Nicoletto, after graduating in Economics and Commerce from Ca' Foscari University, immediately became passionate about the world of wine and began his career at Casa Vinicola Zonin where he held various positions including that of Export Director. In 2004 he moved to Santa Margherita Gruppo Vinicolo where in 2005 he was appointed General Manager and in 2008 Managing Director, with the aim of making the Group grow both through organic growth and the acquisition of new businesses. Nicoletto has also held numerous association positions: first president and today vice-president of Italia del Vino - a consortium made up of the most important Italian wineries; vice-president of Federvini's Wine Group; president of Consorzio Tutela Lugana DOC and member of Federdoc.
Nicoletto takes the place of Emilio Pedron, CEO of Bertani Domains since 2011 and a great expert in the wine sector, who leaves the company after helping to consolidate the management of the business assigned to him. He has held numerous positions in associations in the sector and in particular has contributed to obtaining the DOCG for Amarone, bringing Bertani Amarone among the top 100 Italian wines. "We are confident that Ettore Nicoletto will be the right person to face the challenges of an increasingly global market in which, thanks to the quality of Bertani Domains products, we want to grow and reach an increasingly important position," say the president of Angelini Holding, Francesco Angelini, and vice presidents Thea Paola Angelini and Sergio Marullo di Condojanni, "we are a multinational group with a strong Italian matrix and also for this reason we aspire to bring our Made in Italy towards new goals. The choice of the new CEO, made with great care and attention, aims at this result".
