Fiorano belongs only to Alessandrojacopo Boncompagni Ludovisi

The Court "Tribunale delle Imprese" of Rome has sentenced: the wine with the trademark "Fiorano" is the unique and exclusive property of Prince Alessandrojacopo Boncompagni Ludovisi.
With the judgment n.12313 issued on September 15, 2020, the Court "Tribunale delle Imprese" of Rome has definitively recognized that the only legitimate Fiorano trademark is the one linked to the name of Prince Alessandrojacopo Boncompagni Ludovisi, declaring null and void all other trademarks in circulation used by Marchesi Antinori and prohibiting the production and marketing of wines under that name.
This recognition came after a long-running judicial dispute that saw the multiple reasons of Alessandrojacopo Boncompagni Ludovisi, called to defend his legitimate property, prevail. The Court "Tribunale delle Imprese" of Rome has recognized in the production of the Prince's wines under the trademark Fiorano, and specifically in the wines Fiorano Bianco and Fiorano Rosso, Fioranello Bianco and Fioranello Rosso, not only the "historical continuity" of such a fine wine but also the international "notoriety" even establishing a principle that will make jurisprudence.
This put an end to all attempts of counterfeiting, copying and illegal use by third parties of a world famous name, synonymous with quality, tradition, and passion for a viticulture historically based on respect for the environment.
Prince Alessandrojacopo Boncompagni Ludovisi, in his estate at Via di Fiorano 19, Via di Fioranello 19, on the Appia Antica, will thus be able to continue - without the risk of seeing his trademark counterfeited - the production of a wine that has now become part of history and that he has continued on the path of respect and memory.
