A cold and wet winter, followed by normal seasons. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured 24 months in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. A convincing and complex bouquet, very pleasing, with a subtle note of dog rose, a profusion of wild berry scents followed by those of aromatic herbs. The mouthfeel is somber, elegant, taut, dynamic and fresh, with already integrated tannins and a perfect balance and outstanding drinkability. (On the market March 21).
Bottles produced: 54,800 (999 with the artist’s label); 2,500 half-bottles; 2,400 magnums; and 210 double magnums.
