A 100% Trebbiano wine made in part with grapes picked in November after they had been attacked by Noble Rot. It matures for a year in cement vats and then ages for another year in the bottle. The full color is an astonishing golden but what is truly bewitching is the aroma with its intense note of saffron followed by those of flint and exotic fruit, above all mango. The mouthfeel is perfectly consistent, fresh and saline with a full and lingering flavor of tropical fruit and a rich aftertaste of saffron. Only 2,000 bottles were produced. Ideal with a Milanese risotto.
