Made from Moscato Bianco di Canelli grapes with alcohol fermentation through sterile filtration blocked at 5%. The wine has an unusually luminous straw-citron color and an aroma of astonishing complexity and finesse. The bouquet has notes of chloroform, lime peel, salt, a smoky hint, aromatic herbs, ginger and white peach, all within a sensation that is a bit smoky and a bit metallic. The sweetness and effervescence in the mouthfeel serve only to give a three-dimensional nature to the acidic backbone. The rhythm and dynamism are top and the finish deep and musical.
