A wine made from Trebbiano grapes and aged on the lees in stainless steel vats for 18 months. It has an acidic golden color that is slightly veiled by mustard reflections and unmistakable aromas of marzipan, nettles and caper flowers together with a magnificent note of fruit that is almost overripe. The mouthfeel is full and very fresh with a laser-sharp acidity perfectly encompassed by an almost clay-like texture that ushers in an aftertaste of marzipan, pistachio and medicinal herbs. While the 2013 at present seems like it is from another planet, this vintage is already exquisite but has room for improvement in a way that is difficult to guess.
