A valid version but less so than one would have expected considering the favorable growing season. The color is an intense ruby with reflections that lean towards garnet and has an average concentration. The bouquet is showing the first signs of age with scents of mushroom, tar and ripe, red fruit. The mouthfeel is still full and the tannins are still lively.
