A clear, red color with garnet and orange nuances on the edge. The aroma incredibly still has a light note of wilted violet and a nicely intense rooty sensation typical of old Sangiovese while the bouquet includes scents of leather, wood and rhubarb. The mouthfeel is taut even if without any edges because the freshness is impressive despite being over 50 years old.
