An intense, red-garnet color for this Petrus that finally has a complexity worthy of its fame with notes of licorice, black peppercorns and fine leather. The mouthfeel is still taut and very lively with its structural grandeur. Despite its age there is still some great energy which only confirms how in Bordeaux, be it in on the Rive Gauche or Rive Droite, age is totally relative.
