Harvest took place from September 28 to October 5. This was a great year for the area, very classic, and produced wines that were typical and territorial. The weather has the right balance between sunshine and rain.

The superb garnet color is impressively luminous making it the first wine of the group with a fully expressed color. The floral bouquet has subtle notes of fresh mushroom, iron (a characteristic many tasters identify as typical to Gattinara), candied orange and violet. The mouthfeel is also subtle with biting tannins and a deep finish with notes of iron and flowers. Great.
