Made from Merlot and aged for a year in barriques, the wine has a bright, intense but not excessively concentrated ruby color. The aromas are those of the varietal with precise notes of raspberry and black currant with hints of sweet spice. The mouthfeel is full, saline and very pleasing with a distinct Mediterranean ‘imprint’, warm with the tannins very well integrated into the overall structure. The finish is long and has a nice persistence. The wine has an IGP Alpilles classification.
