100% Sangiovese that has a limpid, ruby garnet color and a delicate, slightly floral bouquet. The aromas are of violet, black cherry, aromatic herbs, some light spice, tobacco and accents of cacao and cassis. The mouthfeel is balanced but does not have enormous structure and lacks an acidic-tannic tartness yet there is a nice alcoholic warmth to it and a discreet acidic tension. The warm finish has good length.
