    A blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Canaiolo with a very intense, deep and dark ruby color and an aroma that is very different, ethereal and more alcoholic and evolved than the 2005. The bouquet has scents of spice, dried flowers, wild herbs and elegant sensations of roselle, almonds, cherry and violet. The mouthfeel is pleasing and balsamic with an easy body and while the tannins are every evident they are nicely integrated into the flavor. The finish is persistent and very warm.
