A blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Canaiolo that has an intense and bright ruby color and a fine, intact and very elegant aroma. The bouquet has fruity notes of black cherry, prune, wild strawberry and black pepper with slight iodine and light toasted sensations. The mouthfeel is rounded, full yet agile, saline and composed with fine and thick integrated tannins and a long finish with sensations of spice and underbrush and while overall the body may not be enormous it is very balanced.
