    A blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Canaiolo with a garnet color and slightly opal-esque orange reflections. The bouquet has evolved fruity notes, wild berries also in jam form, ethereal and a tad volatile hints and wrapping scents of dried rose and wilted violets followed by those of candied orange, aromatic herbs, tea, sweet spice and damp earth. The mouthfeel has a nice balance and is full-bodied yet elegant and approachable with evident tannins and acidity and a warm, saline finish that has an excellent persistence.
