    A dark, impenetrable red wine made from Primitivo grapes. The aromas are slightly compressed to start but intensify significantly with breathing. The bouquet is dominated by Marasca cherry, cherry preserved in alcohol and underbrush. With time sensations of tobacco and tar emerge together with a hint of cacao. The mouthfeel is very full, bold and sweet but upheld by bold tannins and a surprising acidity. The persistence is good in this hearty southern wine. * 375ml bottles.
