Made from Gaglioppo grapes and matured in stainless steel. This vintage offers an opportunity for a deep reflection on the advantages of reduction fermentation even if at the time this was not the intention. The beauty and tonicity of this wine makes it incredible and able to overshadow many famous Italian wines of the same year. After a little breathing an intriguing and unexpected balsamic sensation emerges followed by fruity notes of prunes, even yellow ones, and black cherry that are slightly warm. Then come fine scents of spice, even dark, from fine bottle aging. The mouthfeel is incredibly creamy and progressive with a thick texture, very fine tannins and a consistent and very persistent finish.
