Similar to the 2010 with a slightly more fused acidity. The color is an impenetrable, dark ruby and the bouquet opens with notes of truffle and citrus on the usual sour cherry background. The mouthfeel is very rich, the tannins are like a carpet and the finish is rounded and very deep. In terms of offering pleasure this is unbeatable and in ten years or so it will with all probability ‘reveal’ its Conero iodine and nutmeg attributes.
