The Falanghina grapes come from 60-year-old vines and the wine sits on the fine lees for six months to then age in the bottle for 12 months. The color is a golden, straw-yellow and the complex and broad bouquet has clear aromas of saffron, fern, citron, grapefruit and chamomile together with sulfurous notes that alternate with hydrocarbon ones. The mouthfeel is taut, fresh, harmonious and saline while the finish is wrapping and persistent. A true champion.          Annual production: around 4,000 bottles.
