Made from Longanesi grapes that in part have raisinated, this wine ages for 24 months in French oak tonneau barrels. The wine is conceived to be as simple as possible, an avant-garde choice that many do not share but which I like as a concept. As always the wine has a thick and dark color while the aroma here shifts more towards floral notes with a hint of blood orange and some ripe blackberry. The progression is interesting without being muscular, the persistence is intense and the tannins are more tame. An elegant Burson.
