Bricco del Bosco Vigne Vecchie 2009

A light, garnet color with orange reflections which seems a little more evolved than it should be. There is a tad of barnyard in the attack of the aroma but it disappears quickly to be followed by notes of white peppercorn, nutmeg and aloe. The mouthfeel is savory, loose yet direct with clear sensations of nutmeg and a citrus finish, a change of pace (the first). It is clear that the less fruit the wine has the shorter its life will be. With breathing this loses a bit of its fruit.
