Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 1986

An intense and intact ruby color and a full aroma with a touch of cherry that then shifts towards turmeric and spice with a nice nuance of blood orange. The mouthfeel is quite young despite the wine being 30 years old with nice and fairly settled tannins that make this a gritty drop but with salivation ensured by an acidity higher than the other vintages and in line with the 1967. The finish is extremely flavorful with notes of damp underbrush, very classic, very persistent and alluring.
