A season with a snowy winter followed by a spring with good precipitation and a hot and slightly early summer. The color is an intense garnet and the bouquet has scents of ripe fruit that shift towards those of wild berry jam accompanied by mentholated and balsamic nuances on a background of dark spices like pepper and cinnamon along with a hint of graphite. The mouthfeel has a nice freshness despite the high alcohol content and the progression has saline notes that close on harmonious ones of chocolate-covered dried figs and black cherry.
