In the heart of Emilia's Food Valley, Venturini Baldini's Roncolo 1888 resort is surrounded by a centuries-old park. All guests are offered tasting tours designed to discover the world of sparkling wines and Lambrusco wines produced on the estate and the balsamic vinegars of the Acetaia di Canossa. 

The historic Venturini Baldini estate lies in the heart of the Food Valley in Emilia, in the hills of the Matildic lands between Parma and Reggio Emilia in the province of Reggio Emilia. It produces elegant organic wines, virtuosic organic Lambruscos and more, and is home to a historic acetaia and the boutique Wine Relais Roncolo 1888 with a green soul opened in 2020, created from the renovation of several buildings within the property. 

This refined resort, surrounded by a park of more than 130 hectares, has 11 12 elegant rooms and suites (overlooking the pleasant scenery of the Italian garden) , conceived and designed with respect for tradition and a green perspective that blends with contemporary design.  

Within the property there is also an acetaia, the Acetaia di Canossa, the oldest in the province, which allows interesting tours to discover balsamic vinegar. Venturini Baldini grows Lambrusco organically, including mainly the Sorbara, Grasparossa and Salamino varieties, Spergola, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Pinot Nero and Chardonnay. Venturini Baldini is a small treasure of hospitality and elegance, in a prime location at the center of the Food Valley and Motor Valley in Emilia.  

After a visit to the vinegar cellar and tasting experience in the winery, guests can fully enjoy the relaxation and charm of nature, relaxing surrounded by greenery and even poolside.

June 2021 saw the opening of the in-house restaurant, created by the recovery of a historic greenhouse - Il Taglierè in Limonaia, right next to the relais - with a splendid terrace overlooking the Matilda hills: it bets on modern Emilian cuisine, linked to the territory but revisited with a refined mood and a contemporary breath. 

In the kitchen, creativity at the stove is entrusted to renowned Chef Mario Comitale, known for his ability to innovate traditional dishes without distorting them. Guests can enjoy the recipes he creates in this charming restaurant, to experience a moment of magic surrounded by greenery, less than two hours from Milan. Romantic dinner or family lunch, with kids in tow, La Limonaia is perfect. And after dinner-when the thermometer permits-you can comfortably spend the evening on the sofas on the outdoor patio, under the centuries-old trees, intoxicated by the scents of the land, less than two hours from Milan.
