The many faces of Firriato hospitality

Three different locations, three ways of welcoming in the typically Sicilian spirit of hospitality: Baglio Sorìa in the Agro di Trapani, Cavanera Wine Resort on Etna and Calamoni on the island of Favignana.

That of the Firriato winery is one of the great names in Sicilian wine. Salvatore and Vinzia Di Gaetano, with the inclusion in the company of their daughter Irene and son-in-law Federico, give themselves no respite in the continuous development of a company that is constantly striving for excellence both in the vineyard and in the cellar. And that has by no means neglected the hospitality and wine tourism sector, proof of which are the investments made on the island of Favignana and Etna, as well as near the winery's headquarters. 

Thus, there are three accommodations available to enthusiasts who wish to immerse themselves in the reality of a great winery: the first in Baglio Soria near the winery headquarters in Paceco, the other in Verzella among the vineyards of Etna, and the last on the island of Favignana, in the Egadi archipelago.

We have already talked about Baglio Soria Resort, 13 rooms, a wine bar and a traditional and modern restaurant together. We present today the other two facilities, the "mountain" one, Cavanera Etnea, and the sea one, Calamoni in Favignana.

Cavanera Etnea Wine Resort
Nestled on Mount Etna, one of Europe's main active volcanoes, is a resort wrapped in a network of centuries-old vineyards, where a 17th-century wine mill reminds us how, at these altitudes, the winemaking tradition has ancient origins. 

Cavanera Wine Resort is an extraordinary property on the slopes of Mount Etna set about 600 meters above sea level. Guests have at their disposal 21 double rooms with atmospheres dominated by colors paired with furnishings that combine modernity of style with the typical charm of this Sicilian paradise. 

The culinary experience that can be had in the shadow of the volcano is elegant and refined, and takes place at the terraces of the Riserva Bistrot, a venue carved out of the top of Firriato's Etnean winery, which enjoys an enchanting view of the winery's 100-year-old vineyard.

In the Egadi archipelago, the skilful recovery of ancient structures has created 4 apartments of great elegance. The brightness of the white walls creates chromatic contrasts with the warm tones of the fine woods of the furnishings, in a villa where intimacy and elegance are found together a stone's throw from the sea.
