The Poet of Nuragus
The Pala estate in Serdiana, the area with the most vineyards in Sardinia, is an historic winemaker that for years has been a nationwide leader in production thanks to a range of wines, for the most part focused on local grape varieties, which have great character and are impeccably made.
One of this estate's many merits is that of making known on a universal level an ancient white wine grape, Nuragus, which was once widespread on Sardinia but today risks extinction because its vines are being replaced by the more commercial grape Vermentino.
