The Lord Protector of Nuragus
Mario Pala’s estate has seen growing success in recent years both in Italy and abroad. The reasons for this appear simple: hard work and tenacity in insisting on traditional varietals even if the trend is towards other varieties. Thus alongside the classic Cannonau and Vermentino there is the ‘degraded’ Nuragus grape on which this estate has gambled with courage and merited success.
