The Umbria Grechetto Strozzavolpe (the local name of the Grechetto grape) of the historical winery Bigi is an agile and rich white wine you must try with regional dishes
Bigi is one of the oldest wine producer in the area and has a total of 196 hectares of vineyards in the classic zone of Orvieto that have altitudes ranging between 150 and 450m above sea level.
For the past 40 years it has been part of Gruppo Italiano Vini and produces good quality wines at reasonable prices. Aside from classic Orvieto they also make wines from Sangiovese and produce olive oil.
