Pinot Grigio Vigneti La Delizia, a guaranteed pleasantness
For many molti foreigners "the" Italian wine wine is Pinot Grigio. This one made by La Delizia winery is at a really great price. It's called Vigneti and it comes from Grave del Friuli.
Almost half of the wine made in Italy is made by cooperatives. And when one comes across a cooperative like La Delizia, which is able to produce a lot of well-made wines at affordable prices, they can only take off their hat. On the verge of bankruptcy only a few years ago, thanks to brilliant administration and capable members the cooperative is now one of the biggest success stories in Friuli winemaking.
