When we enter the universe of Lambrusco we find everything. Best to rely on two names that have been a guarantee of quality for years.
The holidays have just passed, and we still have in our mouths the taste of a good zampone with the inevitable side dish of lentils. What did you drink with it? As all the pairing manuals that pop up in sommelier courses teach, there can only be one answer: Lambrusco.
For those who had "derailed," we recall two, which are very good and sold at affordable prices, despite all the price hikes. The first is the historic Lambrusco Reggiano from a well-established winery with significant numbers: Concerto di Medici Ermete. Taking advantage of rigorous selections and technically advanced protocols, the winery manages to express wines of extreme pleasantness and good structure. In practice it has managed to create a microcosm of quality within large numbers, which is not always easy, and the quality of its wines is recognized worldwide
As our second wine, we chose In Correggio Gran Cuvée di Lambrusco from Lini 910, a family-owned winery that is now especially famous for the old classic method reserves of its Lambrusco wines. Innovators since time immemorial, in love with the classic method, in vintages not deemed up to par they do not sparkle, especially the qualitative peaks. Alongside the incredible millesimati, not only from Lambrusco grapes, we also find "simpler" sparkling wines, like the one chosen.
Of course, the quality of these two wines is such that we invite you to drink them not only with zampone and cotechino or with cured meats, but we urge you to try them with everyday cooking or perhaps with pizza, like a capricciosa, and you will not regret it.
