Mandrolisai who?
The question in the title comes up every time we mention this small DOC appellation in central Sardinia. However, for a few years now this area of extraordinary beauty, with its old, alberello-trained vineyards set amid centuries old trees at an altitude of between 550 and 700m, has begun to be known thanks to the estate of Paolo Savoldo and his large family. It is just a beginning but also a good start.
