La Casetta by Cominium, a rosé from Ciociaria
A rosè wine from Ciociaria, in southern Lazio: it's pleasant and refreshing La Casetta 2017 by Cominium winery.
This little gem is in the heart of Val Comino, in lower Lazio. It is a family-run estate and siblings Armando and Maria Pinto run it with passion and have been able to achieve surprising levels of quality. They are also responsible for bringing back the indigenous grape Maturano, which was added to the National Registry of Grape Varieties in 2010.
Thanks to the expert advice of enologist Roberto Mazzer, the Pinto family has in a short time become one of the best winemakers in the region.
