Erik Banti’s funny bubbles

You can crave bubbly without having to open who knows what big bottle for it. Try Erik Banti's Spineto Rosé Brut, a simple and fun sparkling wine.
Erik Banti is the father of Morellino di Scansano, in the sense that he is the one who made it known beyond its production area. He makes several types, and Ciabatta has been his flagship for many years. For some time, however, he has also been engaged in the difficult art of sparkling wine making and has made Spineto Rosé Brut, vinifying Sangiovese grapes in pink and using the Charmat Method.
The result is a simple, fragrant, deliciously drinkable and very enjoyable sparkling wine. Don't expect a Krug Rosé, of course, but neither is it a wine without personality. The tasting note (click on the name to open it) gives it its due credit.
