Dolcetto d’Alba Punset, delicious to drink
The estate Punset has been a flagbearer of organic winegrowing a long time. Founded over 60 years ago (year of foundation was 1964), it produces above all various versions of Barbaresco . Their prize possession is the cru Campo Quadro , a vineyard that is only a hectare in size and produces only a few thousand bottles a year.
Among the 40 hectars of vineyards they don't grow only Nebbiolo but Dolcetto as well. With the Dolcetto grapes they produce the Campo Re , only in the best vintages and a really delicious and with a great quality/price ratio entry level Dolcetto d'Alba.
