Campodora 2015, Albana agile e tipica

Podere dal Nespoli does not disappoint with this Albana Secca Campodora 2015, an authentic expression of Romagna.

Podere dal Nespoli is one of the estates in Romagna that, using a modern and dynamic style, carries on a tradition that dates back to 1929, when Attilio Ravaioli planted the first vines at his first estate, acquired in the hamlet of Nespoli. That first vineyard, which produced and gave its name to the Romagna Sangiovese Il Prugneto, was followed by others and the estate now has 150 hectares of vineyards in the area of Valle di Bidente.

Aside from Romagna Sangiovese, the estate’s core business, an impressive number of other wines are produced according to local traditions like the whites Romagna DOC Pagadebit, Rubicone IGT Famoso and one named after a native variety, Albana di Romagna Secca Campodora, which we review below. All the estate’s wines have an excellent quality/price ratio.

Although the estate is run by Fabio Ravaioli, Celita – who represents the fourth generation – is responsible for the vineyards and all the winemaking activities, in close collaboration with the winery’s enologists.
