Torrevento,Torre del Falco and the interpretations of Nero di Troia

The Apulian winery Torrevento makes great quality/price wines and the Torre del Falco Nero di Troia represents an high quality every day drinking.
The vineyards are right below Castel del Monte and the silhouette of that mysterious citadel build by Frederick II dominated the surrounding landscape. Francesco Liantonio and his partners must surly fee a great responsibility, perhaps more than others given the estate’s location, of transmitting the magic of that area and the grape Nero di Troia, which is the fundamental one in their production.
They make it with different wines, all of great quality, from the Ottagono selection to the more classic Vigna Pedale (both Castel del Monte Rosso Riserva) to the every day wines like Torre del Falco, that we present here, or the entry level Bolonero, where the Nero di Troia grape is combined with a little bit of Aglianico.
