Nuances of ink: Nardone Nardone Aglianico

The estate was founded after World War I by Domenico Nardone and his descendants continue to produce traditional and authentic wines, like this Irpinia Aglianico 2015.
Vertecchia is a district in the town of Pietradefusi, in the province of Avellino, and it is home to a wine estate that has been making wine from local varietals for three generations. Their wines are distinguished by their style, personality and how easy they are to drink.
Those made from white grapes are very good and stylistically traditional, especially the Coda di Volpe and Falanghina in which the varietal is distinctly recognizable.
The red wines, on the other hand, are as surprising as they are authentic. These are wines that need to age and all have in common their dark, ruby color that recalls the nuances that smudged ink leaves on white paper.
