I grandi bianchi del 2014

Many consider 2014 to be an unlucky year marked by rain, botrytis, difficult harvests and questionable quality. And yet, in certain areas it was a very good year including Sicily, especially on Etna, and Sardinia, where it was considered to be the year of the century. The reds had some problems but this depended on the grapes used, while for many whites it was an extraordinary year. Here we present a few which in my opinion were absolutely formidable.
