Oro di Rufolo, l’olio evo from Agricola Ortoplant
Ortoplant, which is steadily progressing, is a farm active in the nursery field for about 20 years. More recently the three partners, Luigi Stallone, Michele De Palo and Pantaleo Piscitelli, have taken over the olive groves owned by their families for generations, aiming at high quality. Currently the 6-hectare olive grove contains 1,100 trees of the varieties Coratina and Ogliarola barese, which produced 500 quintals of olives and 42 hectolitres of oil in the last harvest.
There are three Extra Virgin selections Oro di Rufolo, Ogliarola, Coratina and the very good Don Gaudio.
