A symbol of the Sicilian renaissance
Planeta winery symbolizes the new-found success of Sicilian wines. It was set up exactly 20 years ago and from the beginning was run by a family of young, then, entrepreneurs – Alessio, Santi and Francesca Planeta – who immediately ushered in an extraordinary and efficient wind of change. Today Planeta have five wineries, in different areas of Sicily, but their enthusiasm and passion remain the same and are evident in all their wines.
