Fagher Le Colture’s success in the East

Fagher Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG is a bubbly esteemed for its freshness and balance and it has won over the tastes of consumers in Asia.
It is no secret that Prosecco is having worldwide success but this is not always seen from the right point of view. Many consider Prosecco to be a “poor man’s bubbly” and think experts shun it. This is just not true. Evidence of this is Fagher Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore from Le Colture that has entered the Wine by the Glass selection at the only Italian restaurant abroad that boasts a 3-star Michelin rating: Hong Kong’s 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana. And it was chosen from the 2,000 wines they have on their wine list.
“We are very proud of this latest result,” said siblings Silvio, Alberto and Veronica Ruggeri, the estates co-owners, “and we are well aware that today Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG can be an authentic ambassador for the Italian lifestyle. The fact that our sparkling wines are paired with the best Italian cuisine around the world makes us proud to be an integral part of this excellence”.
Le Colture was founded in 1983 and the estate has from the beginning been run by the Ruggieri family, who personally follow every step of production. The estate’s 40 hectares are subdivided into 16 farms that produce 780,000 bottles a year, some 40% of which is exported.
