May I say so? I didn’t like it. At the risk of seeming an oenological heretic, I have to say that I much preferred the ’02. This ’03 seems – even in its appearance – a bit dull and cooked. The nose, too, is not especially inviting, and the palate is rather clumsy, one-dimensional, and with little flair. It’s a wine that’s tired: I’ll try it again, but I won’t go out of my way to find a bottle.
