    A very difficult, rainy and cold growing season. This Sassicaia is as tenuous as a Pinot Noir and has a garnet color that is more transparent than usual. There are aromas of wild strawberry and currant with floral accents and some balsamic hints. The mouthfeel is delicate yet taut with an excellent acidity that makes it incredibly whole despite having an average body. The finish is subtle but has a nice persistence.
