Some of the Aglianico grapes for this varietal wine come from vines that are over 100 years old. The wine ages in oak barrels and has a bright, ruby color. The attack of the aroma is of violet and rose and is followed by notes of underbrush and cinchona with balsamic sensations. The mouthfeel is saline, warm and meaty with tannins that are still evolving and the wonderful freshness makes this wine elegant and enticing. The finish is intense and long.
