Cerasuolo di Vittoria 2015

An equal blend of Frappato and Nero d’Avola that ages in stainless steel vats. The wine has a lively ruby color and a distinct, grapey aroma with notes of watermelon and red peppercorn together with a touch of rosemary on a background of prune and dark chocolate. The fragrance and fruity flavor of the mouthfeel are fantastic even if the finish is slightly drying due to tannins that are a tad dusty, while the aftertaste is dominated by the dark chocolate from the Nero d’Avola. Cerasuolo di Vittoria is one of the wines that pair best with pizza with tomato sauce. Try it at 14°C.
