A blend of 50% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 10% Croatina, 10% Rondinella and 5% Oseleta that ages in 25-hectoliter oak barrels for around 30 months. The wine has an intense, compact and fairly bright ruby color while the clear and intense aroma has complex notes that alternate between various red to dark fruits also in jam form. It is never too sweet thanks to the spice and intriguing floral tone, a touch of kirsch and Mediterranean herbs. The mouthfeel is rich with crispy and youthful tannins and the attack is never too sweet. The thick and bold texture extends through a finish that has a nice persistence and consistency.
