Barolo, Luciano Sandrone passed away

Luciano Sandrone, the great winemaker and producer of Barolo, passed away yesterday, January 5. He was 76 years old.

Everyone, from his native Langhe to the rest of the world, recognized Luciano Sandrone's skill.  "Sandrone never makes mistakes," fellow winemakers in Barolo said of him. An innovator and then a great classic, more than 50 vintages under his belt, a lifetime for his Barolo, with Cannubi Boschis in his heart.
