In the spirit of Caffè Sospeso, of Neapolitan tradition, Puntarella Rossa Wine Club launches the initiative Calice Sospeso, in collaboration with the best wine shops in Rome.

Puntarella Rossa launches the Puntarella Rossa Wine Club, which will be fully operational from September, with the first appointment: the Suspended Goblet. An initiative of solidarity, conceived together with the best wine shops in Rome, with the extraordinary participation of Intersos. Fifteen bars and wine bars in Rome, all together passionately, try to strengthen contacts with customers and friends in these terrible days of isolation and quarantine. The entire catering world is paralyzed, waiting to understand how and when to leave again. They keep in touch in some way and some try to make home deliveries. But morale is not very high and so, with the Chalice Suspended, we try to do two things: to give a hand to the still wine bars and winebars and to make them feel all the warmth of the historic customers and the new ones to come. The initiative works like this: the customer writes to puntarellarossawineclub@gmail.com, announcing his intention to buy a drink of wine in advance in one of the local partner bars and he finds himself with a credit to spend the first time he goes there.
 
To this credit, the venue will add a free bonus of 5 euros, to be spent on the day of reopening. There are three options to contribute:
 
the 10 euro Suspended Chalice
the 25 euro Suspended Bottle
The Cantina Sospesa, with a free contribution of more than 25 euros.

In the spirit of Caffè Sospeso, of Neapolitan tradition, Puntarella Rossa also invites you to participate in the fundraising for Intersos, the humanitarian organization on the front line in Rome in assisting the homeless and those in financial difficulties due to the coronavirus emergency. The Puntarella Rossa Wine Club

The Suspended Glass is an anticipation of the Puntarella Rossa Wine Club, which will start at full capacity from September, and which was born with this initiative. Those who join the Suspended Goblet will be registered as a free premium member of the Wine Club for the year 2020. Premium members of the Club will have discounts and preferential lanes for wine courses, tastings, winery visits, events, fairs and wine purchases. Through the circuit of winebars and producers, we want to put in contact wine lovers in Rome.

To organize the events there will be Livia Belardelli, master sommelier and historical teacher of the courses of Puntarella Rossa.

From today the Facebook group Puntarella Rossa Wine Club is also active and a dedicated newsletter has been created. All the details of the initiative can be found on the website www.puntarellarossa.it.
