The Essential Guide to Italian Wine 2019 landed in London

Presented in London, with a good response ofpress and, The Essential Guide to Italian Wine 2019.

The English version of DoctorWine's Essential Guide to Italian Wine 2019 was presented in London on 14 January at the Meridien Piccadilly Hotel, also in the new e-book version available for sale this week on the website www.doctorwine.it in the Shop section.

Preceded by the press conference conducted by the director Daniele Cernilli, there was then the wine tasting with the participation of 27 companies with about 100 wines presented. More than 300 people came, mostly professionals and representatives of the specialized press, some of whom were very important, such as Steven Spurrier, Stephen Brook, Jimm Budd, Michael Edwards and Susan Hulme.

It was a great success, not so easy in an extremely selective square like London, where there are presentations and tastings of wines from all over the world every day. Especially for the very high quality of the wines tasted, which surprised most of those present.

A special thanks goes to Andrea Rinaldi, head of the Italian Sommelier Association in London, who wanted to bring to the event the students of the first course for sommeliers, made in English and dedicated to Italian wines, as a complement to their training.
